Getting your inner self back on track is the best thing you can do, however we all love food almost more than we love our dog. Having a bit of a boost throughout the day to supplement some of those cravings is key. Cleanses that taste good but also do wonders for your health is where it’s at lately. Cold press juices/smoothies are all the rage but they can get a little pricey if you want them daily. These five cleanse recipes below will teach you what your body needs and when all to not kill your vibe so you can conquer the day and not feel sluggish.


This all green shot is best to be taken when you are having breakfast. It will set the tone for the day by giving you all these essential green nutrients, minerals, fiber and anti-oxidants which are free from sugar so that you don’t crave snacks all day long. More importantly, a small glass a day will keep your metabolism going strong so it’s easier to loose those stubborn pounds if you need to.


  • 5 kale stalks
  • half a lemon
  • half a cucumber
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 1 apple
  • 1 inch ginger


11:00pm CLARITYΒ 

Once you have settled into your tasks for the day your tummy starts to rumble around this time but it’s not lunch yet so grab a banana-strawberry-maca smoothie to hold you over. Maca is the super ingredient here, it provides you with mental clarity and the focus you need at this time of day to get your tasks done. This acts like a coffee in powder form by giving you a quick boost while keeping you full until that next meal.   • Half a banana
  • 3 strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla yogurt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of maca


3:00pm HYDRATE

By the time 3:00 o’clock rolls around your counting down until you need to leave but it’s important to keep hydrated to give you that last push until 5pm. Pineapple isn’t only tasty but it’s Vitamin C properties will go towards your eye health and an enzyme called bromelain helps digest your food from earlier. Meanwhile, coconut water will hydrate you, coconut oil will kill any bacteria and B-12 will replenish your red blood cells so you don’t feel tired.


  • 1/3 pineapple
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon B-12 (liquid form)



Keeping your body immune from bacteria you picked up throughout the day is almost impossible. Your 5:00pm shot of vitamin c, anti-inflammatory compounds, anti-oxidants, disease preventing juice will be just the thing you need.


  • 1 orange
  • 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder

*let turmeric powder steep in 1/3 cup of hot water and let cool before combining with orange juice.



You’re at the end of your day and need to detox the good (and bad) things you ate today, this is where lemon-charcoal juice comes in handy. Now, before you start freaking out about the charcoal it has the best properties to help purify your blood, cleanse your digestive tract, alleviates bloating and rids your body of toxins. Although this juice-shot is black it tastes just like lemon water.

  • Half a teaspoon of activated charcoal
  • Half a cup of water
